  • #1 Jul 14, 2013

How do you throw them out without clicking the item, dragging it out of the inventory and clicking it again?
I seen many pvpers in minecraft do this by like clicking the item and the item instantly gets 'spit out'.I would apprieciate it if you could help :)

You can also press Shift-Q and it will discard all of the currently-selected quick slot.

Doesn't just work on quick slots. You can mouse over any slot and CTRL-Q to chuck it all.

    Don't you mean CTRL-Q?

Presumably ⌘+Q (that's the command key in case your computer can't render it). Mac is weird that way. They have CTRL (named the same as on PC keyboard), and a completely separate key that does what the "normal" CTRL key does. (Not to mention the need for Mini DisplayPort to VGA/DVI adapters to connect to a projector...)

How am I supposed to complain about a poor release if I have to wait until May?

No, it would still be CTRL+Q even on mac. ⌘Q would quit the application.

Also for Copy and Pasting in MC you use CTRL, not ⌘.

Control + Q isn't working for me. Is it because of my Mac, or my minecraft?

I am on a Mac and CTRL + Q does not work. I have tried CTRL + Q, ALT + Q, FN + Q, and SHIFT + Q. None of them work! :snowgolem: by Tulaash xD

As of 1.8 you now use Command key instead of control. This thread was around when 1.7 was current.
